Bordevieille race track
A bit of history
The Race Society of Beaumont was founded in 1875 by Alphonse de Ruble de Gimat Baron. The race track was at that time located in "La Riverette". In 1925 it was installed in Bordevieille and the stands were built. In 1965 the first pink sand track in the South West of France was inaugurated in Bordevieille.
Two important meetings take place in Bordevieille race track every four years: the European "Grand prix du Sud-Ouest" and the national "Le grand National du Trot".
A race run simultaneoulsy with a Parisian track also takes place in Bordevieille. You have the opportunity to bet throughout France with Pari Mutuel (French system of betting on horses).
