V1 La Gimone Tour

50 KM

La Gimone river descends from the Lannemezan plateau (Haute-Pyrénées) to flow upstream into the Garonne in Castelsarrasin.

All along this tour la Gimone will accompany you, except when you will take the hills road.

Let you guide
The Lomagne in Tarn et Garonne offers you 4 cycle tours:

  • La Gimone tour (V1): green signposts
  • Valleys tour (V2): blue signposts
  • Streams tour (V3): brown signposts
  • L'Arrats tour (V4): purple signposts

The signposts are placed the long of the 4 tours, and signs with the tour name have been placed in each village you will go through.

The tours proposed in Lomagne follow the regional roads, all of them in asphalt.  Mountain bikes are welcome, but they would better follow the way-marked trails specially developed for them.

We have selected some municipal and regional roads where traffic is not very important.  Nevertheless you are recommended to respect the highway code.
